In a shocking turn of events, 33-year-old Dominic Kenneth has found himself in the midst of a legal battle, accused of causing grievous harm to his neighbor by allegedly removing his scrotum. The bizarre incident unfolded on March 1 at No 1, Abdul Rasaq Street, Balogun area of Ikorodu, leading to Kenneth’s appearance in the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Wednesday.

Kenneth, whose address remains undisclosed, entered a plea of not guilty to the charge of causing grievous harm, as presented by Prosecutor ASP Christian Okonofua. The court heard that the accused, during a fracas, reportedly unlawfully caused severe harm to his co-shop owner neighbor, Mr Pascal Uche, by removing one scrotum from his private parts.

The offence, as per the prosecutor, contravenes Section 245 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, with a possible seven-year prison sentence if found guilty. Magistrate Mrs A.O. Onalaja granted Kenneth bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum.
